Operational draft: This policy is pending review by qualified counsel for every jurisdiction where the service will be offered. It should be treated as operationally final only after that review is complete.
Scope
This policy explains how BlockCase Security handles information submitted through its website for on-chain incident assessment and tracing support. BlockCase Security is not a law-enforcement agency, exchange, court, or law firm.
Information we collect
Depending on what you submit, we collect contact information, incident details, loss information, public blockchain addresses, whether you reported the matter to police, source information, and limited device or security records used to protect the service.
How we use information
We use this information to assess the incident, contact you about that case, protect the service, prevent abuse, maintain records, comply with law, and provide technical services you decide to request. Submitting a case does not authorize unrelated marketing.
Sharing and service boundaries
We may use vetted service providers for infrastructure and operations under appropriate restrictions, or disclose information when legally required. We do not claim authority to obtain private exchange records or freeze accounts or assets.
Retention and deletion
We generally retain case information for three years after the case closes. Reopening a case restarts that period. When applicable, an expired case moves to trash for 30 days before permanent deletion. A documented legal hold may pause deletion. Backup copies age out through the encrypted backup cycle.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to ask how your information is handled. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Use the contact email in the footer so we can respond securely.
Advertising tracking
Optional advertising tracking stays off until you accept it. Rejecting it does not affect case submission. The Phase 1 site stores only your first-party accepted or rejected choice and does not send Pixel or Conversions API events.
Changes
We may revise this policy as operations or legal requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current draft.
